Noah Yoshino rated it 5/5: Rick Smith is professional, listened well, was upfront with costs and did great work. I had a water hammer issue with my irrigation system and a toilet and he plumbed in a needed expansion tank and hammer arrestors where needed. Great same day service at a reasonable cost. Thank you!

  • Monique Moon rated it 5/5: Another great experience. We corrected my email this time and I got extra business cards so I can share with my neighbors. Couldn’t be happier with this company and it’s service members. I saw literally, one bad review and I am sorry that a person did not have the same experiences I have had. Very respectful. Danny can in with his shoe protection and asked to see if every drain and and even though only one needed work, I appreciate the due diligence on his part to get my satisfaction. If there was anything lacking previously, I’m sure this owner has met the challenges to get this team on board with excellent service.

  • Eric Berglund rated it 5/5: Needed to have an outdoor spigot replaced. Our technician, Kyle, was on time for the appointment and efficient to replace the spigot. He was super friendly and answered all questions that I had. I would recommend this business and will continue to use them going forward!
  • Matt St. John rated it 1/5: I will not do business with A Better Plumber ever again.

I contacted A Better Plumber for an emergency water leak of my water heater and my indoor water main valve. They came out the next day to help me shut off the water and started repairs a day after that. The water heater was overdue to be replaced and so was the valve. They sold me a new tankless water heater, a new shutoff valve, a pressure reducing valve, and an inline filter. The total cost was just under $13,000. The installers were professional, the work was good, and the job was done in about a day. I thought the price was a little high but the job was done well and done quick so I let it go. I was a little bothered when they pressured me to sign a document waiving my right to cancel the job within three days but since the job was complete in under three days I let that go, too.

I also had a potential sewer issue marked on my inspection (I recently purchased the house) so I asked them to take a look. The person they sent out to inspect the sewer took one look and immediately said all of the cast iron had to be replaced because the additives they put in our food corrode cast iron and if I don't replace it right away it will leak beneath my foundation and cause major problems. He also said the plumbing leading to the cast iron (the "main stack") was outdated and needed to be completely replaced. The estimate he sent to replace the main stack plus 20 feet of interior sewer line was $12,500. I was uneasy with his hard-sell tactics, pushing for immediate repair and pressuring again to have me waive my right to cancel. I decided to call another plumber for a second opinion.

The second company says there isn't any clear damage to the cast iron. They offered to do a cleaning for $350 before inspecting again. If it truly needs to be replaced they said it should be around $8000 at the highest. They also said that the main stack was clearly recently replaced and in good condition. They ran scopes around to inspect it as well, which A Better Plumber didn't do.

I did some quick searching to find pricing for the items A Better Plumber installed in the first job vs what they charged me. Here's what I found:
    * Navien NPE-241A2 Tankless Water Heater – Google: $1900 – A Better Plumber: $9599
    * Halo 9 Inline Filter – Google: $500 – A Better Plumber: $1800
    * PRV-100 Pressure Reducing Valve – Google: $200-$500 – A Better Plumber: $1398.99

My opinion: They did a good job. They charged a LOT of money. They tried to upsell unnecessary repairs. I will not do business with them again.

Edit to respond to Jeff, the Owner:
When I had the first job done, I was impressed by Beau and Jimmy's work. They were professional, they seemed to know what they were doing, and they got the job done. I felt uneasy at the cost but I understood it was a quick response and, in general, I'm willing to pay a premium for professional work. The prices I listed above come straight from the invoice they gave me. There was no separate line item for finance costs. That was advertised as 0%. (No mention of any added fees)

For the second job, your man Jansen came out. He told me that additives in food will rot cast iron, especially if it is right below the kitchen. He told me that the main stack was clearly original and had to be replaced (it was actually a replacement for the original cast iron, in good shape, and the next plumber showed me how to tell). He told me within seconds of the scope hitting the pipe that it was "bottomed out" and clearly needed emergency replacement. He never mentioned cleaning or further inspections. He also pushed me to waive my right to cancel even though the earliest he could start the job would be four days later. It was his hard-sell used-car-salesman tactics that soured my opinion of the whole business and led me to question all of the work done up to that point.

My bottom line is that the first job was a good job and it was incredibly expensive. Other people can look at the numbers and decide for themselves. The numbers are straight from the invoice.

Alex Sor rated it 5/5: David Pierce was phenomenal in every aspect. Customer service, professionalism and knowledge was great in every aspect. He made the process super smooth and friendly and made the whole ordeal feel like it was a family friend coming to help fix the plumbing issue rather than someone i hired! 10/10 all around.

  • Seebie CB Baga rated it 5/5: Brandon was absolutely incredible. He took the time to explain everything that was going on both with the repair and how the system was set up in general so I could understand my new house. He went way above and beyond to look at different aspects of the plumbing/sewer systems and explain what we should keep an eye out for over time. 10/10 will call again!
  • Jim Whitbread rated it 5/5: Jason came out on Wednesday to perform a Jetting service that was recommended by the prior technician that was here on Tuesday. Upon inspection Jason deemed that the jetting service is not what was appropriate for our sewer line. I was very annoyed but I will tell you Jason handled this with professionalism, courtesy and empathy. He took it upon himself to schedule a technician to come out on Saturday to perform the work that needed to be done. Ian showed up on time on Saturday and was very professional, thorough and extremely nice. He walked me through everything he was doing and did an excellent job cleaning out our sewer line that had a great deal of root intrusions. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to everyone I know that has plumbing needs.

  • Jessica Salazar rated it 5/5: Fast Efficient and explained in detail. Excellent I called they were their within an hour and job was pretty big done in 2 hours which was Awesome. Best service ever!! wow I would recommend them. It was a little pricey to me but never had a job done so quick and attentive to my homes needs.
  • Kyle Ellison rated it 1/5: Called around 230 pm on a Sunday & was given a time between 4-8pm arrival. At 740ish I called asking if they were still coming and I was next on the list. At 930pm I asked for an update and was told I was still next. At 1130 pm they called and said it will be another 3-4 hours and I can reschedule for the next day for $75 off. They arrived at 830 am and unclogged the drain from my sink to the sewer line, 15 min and a $450 bill. They did honor the $75 off and the technician Forty was great. He was super professional and helpful. If you are okay with a steep bill then during working hours I would recommend. Outside of regular hours I would never use this company again.

Craig MacPhee rated it 5/5: We recently had our residential sanitary sewer service replaced due to root intrusion and joint displacement in our line. Jimmy, our estimator, was very thorough and knowledgeable. He put together a comprehensive, competitive quote and went above and beyond to help us provide documentation for our insurance claim. The pipe burst installation was completed on time without any issues. The construction crew was courteous, respectful and left the site (our front yard) clean. We are very happy with our experience with Sewer Lines Only.

  • Mark Spiegelhalter rated it 5/5: My family highly recommends Sewer Lines Only. Extremely polite and efficient workers. We ran into some issues at the beginning of our sewer line replacement job, so one of the owners, Ian, came out to discuss options to resolve it. His team took care of the issue, and completed the job on time as was promised, even with the additional issues. I told Ian we were willing to pay extra for the extra work, but Ian said he would honor the quote and not take additional money. Jake did our estimate and he was very informative and polite, no high pressure sales, just an honest assessment of our sewer replacement project. Pablo and his crew did an excellent job repairing our sewer line; the clean up crew came the next day and did a great job cleaning up. After the clean up, you could hardly tell the work was done. I put my plantings back in place, added topsoil, miracle grow, and grass seed to the dig site, watered three times a day, and in only about a week, the grass has filled in perfectly. Get these guys to replace your sewer line. It's a pleasure working with them.
  • JENNIFER SHINDOLL rated it 5/5: We had excellent and professional service from Sewer Lines Only. We had a previous estimate from a different company that was 20,000 more than the estimate from Sewer Lines Only. They were timely and cleaned up
very well after the work. They worked around our schedule too. Our house is 120 years only and they understood its limitations and issues All their staff was careful and considerate of our yard. After we had some settling happen (this is normal) and they made time to come fill it in. They were creative in figuring out how to move pipes into locations without causing lots more cost to us. Sewer Lines Only are incredibly good with follow up and communication too. I would recommend very highly.

He was very nice, explained everything, answered all my questions, and had the best quote. The gentlemen that did the work did a wonderful job updating our main sewer line. They were very respectful and did the job in one day as stated. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.
  • James P rated it 5/5: I'm totally happy with the professionalism, communication, quality and price of the work from Sewer Lines Only. We were referred to them by a friend after getting an eye watering quote from two other advertising plumbers. At nearly half the cost of the others, our sewer line and city tap was replaced. Although they dug a trench from house to pavement, I'm super impressed with the end result!

  • mark baird rated it 5/5: I called on a Sunday 3pm. Had a plumber at my house in an hour. The plumber was very knowledgeable and professional. Nobody want to deal with plumbing emergencies on a Sunday. Winston fixed the problem and cleaned up after.

Hoping to not ever have another plumbing emergency, but if I do, I know who to call. Thanks again

  • Bennie Walton rated it 4/5: All techs were pros in their work and knowledge. All respected both homeowners and were willing to speak and explain the work to us. All were courteous. When the outside sewer line cleanout access ports are uncovered from dirt covering those ports, I am more than willing to give a five star.
  • Carrie H rated it 3/5: I will start with the fact the tech's work was good and the price for the job that was done was fair. However my experience as a whole was not great. I put an inquiry in online and got a pretty quick phone call, which got disconnected in the middle of. Instead of trying to get ahold of me again, they sent a tech, which I knew from a text I got, without verifying that I was available or even wanted them to come (and we had already gone over that what I wanted was preventative, not an emergency before the disconnect). I called them back and they canceled it but they were very pushy about it all, not leaving me a lot of room for questions. We did get a time set up and the tech came in the 2 hour window without issue. Like I started with, the work itself was great. We wanted a 2nd opinion on a big issue we had gotten from another plumber, and they agreed and showed me why it needed to be done, and I do agree I need to do something about it. However, it's very pricey and not something that needs to be done today. The tech was very pushy about it, glossing over the cheaper option without telling us the price on that until he was about to leave, saying he wouldn't recommend it. The cheaper option was almost 1/3 of the price and it is a valid option, but I kept being pushed financing and payment options, despite my husband and I both saying not today. He kept telling me it's slow so he could do it now and tried to knock off a little, but the cost even with a little off is still a lot to stomach and I'm not up for taking on the equivalent of a car payment in financing without even thinking it through. Between the pushy phone call, a tech started being sent without my consent, and then very pushy sales, I just can't recommend them to be used with the lack of customer service.
  • A B rated it 1/5: The worst service I've ever contacted. Falsely promises a very convenient appointment date/time. No call no show. Sends out a different appointment time out of nowhere after missing the first appointment (which they also don't show up for or call). No communications whatsoever. Extremely unprofessional. Called the office multiple times that no one is coming to the appointment. They just keep saying they'll get someone to call me back to give me an eta. No one ever calls back, no one comes to the appointment. This business is a joke.

Christy Crawford rated it 5/5: I recently had Nick from Garvin's sewer come out to fix my drain, he was AMAZING! First of all he came out same day and called to give me a very accurate time of arrival, when he came he was very professional and explained everything to me.

The most impressive thing about my experience with Nick is that we was able to fix my drain in a short amount of time, he fixed the problem and did not try to upsell me on anything I did not need. I have had 4 other plumbers out here to clear my drain in the past and none of them could solve the problem with out trying to charge me several hundred dollars in repairs I did not need.

Based on my experience with Nick, I will never use any other Sewer Service in the future and would tell all my friends to only use Garvin from here on out.

Thanks Nick! You made a stressful situation much smoother.

  • Ally Sun rated it 5/5: Wow. I bought this condo 3 years ago, not knowing how bad the plumbing was in this hi-rise. I've had to have plumbers out constantly. Called another service this weekend but they couldn't remove the clog in the garbage disposal line. I don't cook with grease or animal fats (vegetarian) and haven't used this disposal in over a year due to these drainage problems but it was still backing up due to what others must be putting down their drains. I hadn't heard of Garvin's but the building had them come out to snake my line again. Wow. Daniel cleared everything out in half the time than the other service guy was here, tested it to make sure everything was running fine, then cleaned everything up like he was never here! But he was, folks. I have a clear drain to prove it! If you need a reliable service definitely give them a call. Ask for Daniel, you won't go wrong.
  • N Rushmoreco rated it 5/5: This is a big shoutout to Garvin's Sewer Service and Nick P. A week ago I used the services of another plumbing company which charged over $450 to snake my sewer line. 6 days later the line had backed up again, this time with no drainage whatsoever. A friend suggested Garvin's and they sent Nick out within an hour.

He worked diligently for 2 hours using different techniques which the previous company hadn't even attempted. He got the line cleared and said we are good to go…

The previous company wanted over $300 for a camera to scope the line, on top of the $450. Garvin's charged $198 and said there was no need for a camera at this time. Over $250 in savings and with a positive result.

It's great to see that there are still companies out there which are not trying to screw the customer and offer first-rate services and technicians to address the issue. Thanks.

  • Denise Reilly rated it 5/5: Our sink drain backed up. Call Garvin's from a recommendation from my neighbor. Nick showed up and was awesome and did a great job. Drain back up again a week later and Nick was here first thing the next morning made the repair again and was awesome. Thanks for the great job and standing behind your work Garvin's sewer service. You have a great tech in Nick and I highly recommend them!

They had the tools and equipment to take the old water heater out and install the new one. They were very friendly, professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend King Rooter & Plumbing to anyone.

  • Amber Reese rated it 1/5: DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS!!! 2months since & issue still not handled what they promised after their tech left the cap off and now my basement is a mess! Tech admitted fault and promised a “professional al clean” but no follow up. I have tp in my window well! :/ Called several times & agreed on $500 but haven’t seen a dime. I paid $289 for this mess!!
They came out to fix a backed up shower. Techs, Taylor and Jim, “were distracted” and didn’t glue the lid on the main drain so everything emptied into my basement for 2+ weeks! 2 rooms totally soaked in sewage!! They promised a “professional cleaning” but haven’t done that either. They came back, glued the lid on & Rob admitted that, “we didn’t glue it when we left to prevent this from happening”. But somehow want me to take 50% responsibility for this mess! I have the technicians, Rob and Josh, on video assuring me they would have this area professionally cleaned. “We’ll get on the industrial cleaners to come out here and take care of you”, Rob promised. But it’s been a MONTH and they still haven’t followed through. Several items were ruined from the sewage water but they refuse to take responsibility for anything. They dumped sewage all down our neighbors curb that my husband shoveled into the empty lot and the technician, Jim, admitted to it. I have pictures and videos to backup all of these claims. Do NOT risk this situation being your reality!!
I have toilet paper all over the floors and in my window well. They do not care about their customers- I’ve called back several times and the office guy, Jake, “isn’t aware of the situation”
  • Kindra Baxter rated it 1/5: Unbelievably TERRIBLE X2!! This company and specifically the tech named Jim are absolutely the most disrespectful and money scamming folks yet. In less than 24hrs of " total main drain clean out", my basement was flooded again! I called to follow up and Jim's answer…" I can't control how much toilet paper you use." And hangs up! $661 later, no answers and same issue. No explanation of service on both invoices and zero assistance from others at the company. DO NOT USE! Don't even deserve one star.
  • Jodie rated it 1/5: Called this company BECAUSE was right down the road from my home! Without a hesitation she asked for my information and scheduled me for the service! No I didn’t ask for price because figured comparable to everyone else! HELL NO! $324 for a 5 minute job and the tech came from Denver not Loveland! ??? They were professional but price was outrageous!!!

Harley Bishop rated it 5/5: I am so grateful I found them. I had a really bad experience with another company in Denver and reached out to their team. They are top-notch and super knowledgeable. They were on time and reviewed all our information before our appointment. During the inspection of our sewer line, they took the time to walk us through everything their team were doing and explain what was happening on the video scope every step of the way. They put our minds at ease and answered every single one of our questions. Without a doubt we will be reaching out to them for all our future sewer needs and cleaning. Cannot recommend this company enough!

  • Annette Davis rated it 5/5: We had excellent and professional service from this company. The price was the best we’ve seen, and they worked around our schedule. Their staff was careful and considerate of our yard, and they worked hard to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We had a previous estimate that was 20,000 more than the estimate from this Denver Sewer Service Company. They were timely and cleaned up very well after the all work. We had some settling happen (this is normal), but they made time to come fill it in. They were creative in figuring out how to move pipes into locations without causing lots more cost to us. They are incredibly good with follow up and communication too. I would recommend very highly!
  • Callum Edwards rated it 5/5: The best option ever. As a whole, my loved ones and I enjoyed our time with them. The crew that came to replace our sewer line was professional, courteous, and quick. When we encountered problems in the beginning of the job, one of the proprietors, and their staff, came out to explore possible solutions. Their crew dealt with the problem and finished the job on schedule despite the unexpected complications. They indicated that they would stick to the quote and not accept any additional payment, despite my assurances that we would gladly pay more for the extra effort. Their team member gave us an in-depth quote for replacing our sewer system and was pleasant and easy to talk to the whole time. After the team finished fixing our sewer line, there was barely any evidence that they had even been here. After everything was cleaned up, I replaced my plants, amended the dig site with topsoil and miracle-grow grass seed, and watered it three times a day. My lawn is fully established after only a week. These fellas are the real deal. Hire these professionals to install a new sewage line in your home… If you do this, you won't be sorry later.

  • Yvonne Ohanlon rated it 5/5: I needed a second opinion on my sewer line situation, so I dialed this organization. The customer service representative was very kind and promptly forwarded my details to their team. Their staff looked at the line and told me what was wrong and where the report was exaggerating. In the past, I've hired plumbers who were only interested in making a profit, but not these guys. They have my undying loyalty and business.
  • Matthew Altmin rated it 5/5: Sewer Experts, and Kara, Marisa, Damian, and Juan, were fantastic to work with for my sewer line repair on my 100 year old house near downtown. I would and will highly recommend this company to anyone. I found the company to be very honest, to have great communication, competitive prices, and most importantly quality work and great customer service. I really felt cared for and that they wanted the best for me, and that I was not just another routine job; they really made sure the job was perfect and that I would be satisfied with all the repairs. What was only supposed to be a few hours turned into an all day project, but they got the job done and took on extra work without added expenses. Thank you again for what can be an overwhelming house repair project.

Marya Borgerding rated it 5/5: These guys were great! We specifically worked with Garrett who was very professional, on time, and kept us updated with everything. He showed us camera footage of our pipes (before and after), kept me posted on when he would arrive/leave, kept me up to date on everything that would be happening, answered all of my phone calls and questions. There work was great, quick and helpful! Highly recommend!

  • Jessica Ahner rated it 5/5: Our work was completed a few days ago and I think I can safely say everything went exceedingly well. We had a very unfortunate leak in our main water service line and our house is quite old with some (likely) original piping, making our job pretty complex. No other companies really offered a solution that seemed reasonable, besides Hyper Flow. I had several plumbers out to give ideas and quotes (anyone with good reviews!). Kyle was also one of the few who seemed to simply provide information and didn't seem like he was trying to scare us into spending more money or doing more work. Kyle provided great explanations of what would happen, what our options were, why other options weren't feasible, and answered questions really clearly. I felt like I was in good hands, as you could see how methodical and organized he was in his approach. We had some scuffs on our walls, etc after the work was complete but our living room was jackhammered through and basically a construction zone, so I'm not sure that could've been avoided. They also worked on our house for about 12 hours to have everything complete in one day, which I feel like was really an extra step, instead of coming back a second day. I feel pretty thrilled to have found a reliable plumber. I will definitely recommend to others and contact them first for anything else we need.
  • Alex Pastel rated it 5/5: I'm so glad I found Hyper Flow thanks to all the positive reviews, and happy now to add one of my own. I had a leak in my basement that was sewage pipe-related, and that's about all I knew. After dealing with three useless plumbers from my home warranty company, I called up Hyper Flow to come look at the problem and Jake was here the next day.

Jake looked around in my basement and within a few minutes he already had everything mapped out and knew what to do — which pipes were in the wall and where, which pipes were below ground and where they connected. It was like he had a 3rd eye that could see through concrete, and he gave me a proposal what what should be done to fix the problem. It was a jackhammer job that required excavating the basement, which is exactly what I was hoping it wasn't going to be, but after the consultation I felt confident that Hyper Flow was going to handle it correctly.

Less than a week later, Jake and his crew showed up and knocked out the job within about 6 hours. They were very respectful of my property — being sure to lay tarps on the ground to cover up their footprints (Jake was also the only contractor I've had in my house who bothered to wear booties over his shoes during the consultation). Jake went over everything again with me after the job was done and made sure I was satisfied. This sewer excavation was a walk in the park for them — something that the previous plumbers I had been assigned through my warranty company were not equipped to do.

I also got a chance to speak to Kyle, Jake's cousin, a couple of times. He did me a huge favor by getting on the phone with my home warranty company in the hopes of getting me a reimbursement from them. And it worked! My home warranty co. is reimbursing me the full amount, so thanks to Kyle for dealing with them on the phone multiple times.

I would not hesitate to use Hyper Flow again for any sort of plumbing issue and I highly recommend giving them a call if you're thinking about it.

  • Blake Ashley rated it 5/5: Carlos and Kyle are great professionals to work with. Their experience helped us locate a couple of plumbing leaks, diagnose the issue, and fix the plumbing leak. They were beyond fair in their pricing, took photos and documented everything. I would refer my friends and family if given the opportunity. In a world of contractors and service professionals, choose Hyper Flow Service for your plumbing needs. Photo shows the during stage of finding and fixing. Thanks again guys. Great job. Great plumbers even better people!
  • JeffK rated it 5/5: While doing a load of dishes this morning my kitchen sink started to back up with water very quickly. I have had some pretty serious issues with a blockage outside the house in the past and started to panic as it was a fairly costly repair. So, I jump online and look up plumbers and found Hyper Flow. I sent them a service request through their website. They called me back within an hour (I sent the request before they open) and described the issue, they said someone could be out today.

An extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable technician named Allen showed up right on time. I told him more about my problem and his guess is it is just a blockage in my disposer (because it stopped working about a month ago). He literally just gave the rotation mechanism a good few spins with a wrench and now my disposer works again (which wasn't even the problem I called about, but was still a problem and is now fixed) and my sink drains just fine too. He also gave me some quick tips on things to look out for if I ever have any further blockage issues.

Allen told me that this would just be a courtesy call since no major repair was performed and didn't even charge me. Where can you find service like that these days? I mean, he came to me.

I definitely recommend this company and will be holding onto their number. Of course, plumbers are not people you really want to have to be calling, but I can at least feel good about finding a great plumbing service just in case.
