The workers (Wilford and Tyshawn) were right on time and fast and efficient. They were very polite and quoted me a price before they began. They cleaned up all the debris afterwards. Jacob Nasserizafar rated it 2/5: Worked with Junk King on two different occasions for furniture removal. The first time was great. Quick and fairly priced. The second experience was the opposite. They beat a competitor’s quote when I provided it, so I scheduled with them because of my prior good experience. The guys came in and said that the furniture pieces were different than what was in their system, so they charged me quite a bit more than the original quote. Figured I’d just call support and get reimbursed the difference, no big deal. The support representative listened to the call recording from the original quote and confirmed that there shouldn’t have been a discrepancy and received approval to reimburse the difference. If this was the end of it, there would be no issue, but I had to call 6 times over the course of the next couple of weeks and re-explain everything to a different representative each time. Every time, I was told that they wouldn’t reimburse, then that they would, and so on. Eventually, they said the owner would call me that afternoon. Never received a call until I called back again the next day and re-explained everything again. Eventually, the owner reached out, apologized, and sent out the check. The job was done well, and everyone I spoke to was nice, but it was an incredibly exhausting experience, and I really don’t think I can recommend using them after that. Looking back, I wish I would’ve spent the extra $5 and gone with the other company who quoted me.

I tried calling the office, emailing staff, for weeks to get through to anybody to help refund me for this terrible service or at least apologize and they made sure I didn't get any responses or compensation. Immediately sent my leftover balance of 40 dollars to collectors after I said their service was awful and I was done with them.

They did not look to see if anything was coming and pulled out. I had to slam on my breaks. I was so close to getting hit. The driver was not cautious at all and was not paying attention. He saw me and shrugged it off as if it was not a big deal. Could of been anyone and i could of been hurt.

Which means I have always had the same trash collection process. But at this address it seems like at least once a month I have problems with my trash/recycling pick up, my neighbors have been out there fighting for them to pick up my stuff, I do not understand. I used to live in a court and never had these problems. We keep our trash cans properly placed….I think once my daughter pulled up too close and I got a stupid note…. I have always bagged my cans and my recycling…always always…. I have two trash cans in my kitchen one for garbage one for recycling we have always done it this way and they won't pick it up….just sometimes!! Be consistent at least!! Left me a note that says mostly trash. But it's not it's cans and paper and all of those things. I paid for a second collection bin and once they took it…. Just took one of my trash cans…. ridiculous!! The bins have been out there since before 6 am. And it's 4:00pm and they're just now coming through my neighborhood and leaving. Why does the city have trash lying everywhere??? Because the company they hire to pickup recycling and garbage dont do their job.

I have to pick up the trash out of my yard and street because the neighbor doesn’t put all the trash in bags in the receptacle. I contacted customer service and they made it a me problem because they failed to do the one job they were hired to do. Not my fault you have lots of houses but the mere fact you did not even say I’m sorry is worth this review.

In the last four months we have had nothing but problems. Missed pick ups at least twice a month. When I call in to report the issue, they say they will send someone out but there is only a 50/50 chance that will actually happen. Because we are a business, we have a rep that we have to specifically deal with for our area in order to receive a credit for a missed pick up. He is less than helpful.

About three weeks ago, I requested to end our service and have them come and get our dumpster. They still have yet to get it. They are like an ex that just won't go away. It's beyond exhausting at this point.

So they leave it open in the rain to get heavier. You make a server request and they send a guy out in a pick up truck. He tries to then pick up a Bin by himself into the back of a pick up… fails at it and then by hand moves trash to another Bin.
This company is awful. Lazy employees that don’t utilize their equipment and move your personally own trash bins into their pick ups. It’s insane.

No I said then I need to cancel my service. She said I couldn't because of the Pandemic. I said I can't afford to pay for it cause I lost my job from the Pandemic. I never received another bill, but they kept picking my trash up till April/May of 21. Dragged the trash out for 2 weeks never picked up. So I called she said that my account was closed and being sent to idk. Never have received a bill or a collection notice. CS Is rude no help and now I have to haul my trash off.

This Summer I have had FIVE missed pickups, our trash collection day was randomly changed from a Friday to a Wednesday with no warning whatsoever, and now this company is blatantly lying saying our service was completed and our trash was picked up, yet it’s STILL sitting out there 4 days after my pickup date. I’ve tried calling and either get an after hours message, or one that says the wait time is 3 hours and I need to schedule a call back. The funny thing about the callback is when you get called back 3 hours later, they make you wait an additional hour and then disconnect the call so you never get to speak to someone. The first two missed pickups we called and 1 was blamed on a broken down truck, the other had no excuse whatsoever, but this last one was a blatant lie and I’m angry. I’ve tried calling to cancel services and get the same 3 hour hold time with no call back. It’s getting absolutely ridiculous at this point and it’s inconveniencing everyone around us. We live in the country, wild animals get into our trash when it’s not being picked up. This is unacceptable for a service I’m paying $165 a quarter for. Kimble charges $64 a quarter and I’m going to them. WM is garbage, literally and figuratively…..

Larry Varney rated it 1/5: Absolutely ridiculous! Decided to go with wm because I am unhappy with my current provider for my business. So far I've had smoke blown up my rear for the past 3 days. My new dumpster was to arrive at my business this past Monday. That didn't happen. Yesterday, 8/30/22, I was told I would see it by the end of the business day and/or receive a call. That didn't happen either. Now it's 8/31/22 and nobody can or will tell me anything about what happened to my dumpster aside from they must have delivered it to the wrong place(that was yesterday morning). I have every intention to cancel my order with this circus and start a charge back to get my money back if they don't willingly refund me. DO BETTER WASTE MANAGEMENT. If your customer service is this bad and I don't even have your dumpster yet, I hate to imagine what it is if it were to actually arrive!

They have been very helpful in trashing out our properties and also picking up and hauling away debris from demo and construction. I would and do recommend them. We had a very big project and had several companies give us estimates; We Haul Junk gave us the best price, they were able to start quickly, and finished the work faster than we expected. Phil the owner was very helpful and communicated with us throughout the process, responded quickly to All our questions. Even when met with a couple of unexpected "surprises" they took it in stride and made sure we knew what was going on. Plus they are a locally owned business (that was important to us), and also donate to local charities. Thanks for such a great experience!

Mary Rauchenstein rated it 5/5: Recently, our community shut down a yard waste dump that many of us used regularly, to dispose of tree limbs and tall grass (every fall). While it's difficult to stuff tall grass into yard waste containers, it's just as difficult to empty them. My husband and I set more than 20 containers out 2 weeks ago and when we heard the truck, we went out to begin collecting the containers as they were being emptied. I thanked the two Rumpke employees and I apologized for the huge pick up and explained that our city closed the dump that used to be open to the public and we had no choice but to take the massive yard waste to the curb. The driver and the attendant smiled (as they continued to empty the containers) and said it was no problem at all. We all had a good laugh when they asked if we were done with our fall clean up – we explained there would be several more weeks of stuffed containers. They were so professional and good-natured and we told them how much we appreciated them. I even contacted Rumpke via their website to let them know. These guys work hard and often aren't thanked by homeowners for what they do! While I'm disappointed in my community's decision, I'm grateful that we've had Rumpke's services for many years!

Like most businesses, they had their manning issues this summer due to COVID, but they worked hard are over came them. We have been customer for 9 years. Again, one of the best, consistent and responsive customer service organizations that I have ever dealt with. Three words sums it all up – "Job, well Done!
Alan Knepper rated it 4/5: Rumpke shows up when they say they will, most often. There have been a few times recently that it was the next day but they did come. I use metal trash cans and they don't dent them up like I've experienced other place I've lived. There have been a number of comunications from Rumpke about the current environment and staff situation. They've acknowledged some shortfalls and that is Rumpke taking responsibility for making sure there is appropriate follow-through.

Brian Trent rated it 2/5: ALPHA waste management hasn't communicated very well at all. Please Alpha waste management, don't use emails to communicate IMPORTANT information. Professionally speaking, the only times companies should use emails are invoices, and advertising. THAT'S IT! All other forms of communication should be by mail. Honestly, do other companies use email as a form of IMPORTANT INFORMATION to communicate? NO. Why? Mostly because human beings don't take the time to fully read all emails because most are junk mail. On the other hand when you get something in the mail, you're more likely to read it. Placing the word "IMPORTANT " would caught many people's eye.
And in the business world emails are not used for Professional communication. Also, phone communication with clients shouldn't be you (the company) trying to prove a point. (I would advise that individual to read a customer service problem solving book in how to handle problems/complaints. ) First, you need to listen to the customer – let them speak! They have something to tell you, they are already upset about something. DO NOT speak over them, that's the worst thing you can do. After you have LISTENED to the customers concerns then apologize even if it's not your(company) fault. Then, reassure that you are addressing the concern and make it right. THAT'S GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! AND MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW UP, AND FOLLOW THOUGH WITH YOUR PROMISE. THAT'S BEING PROFESSIONAL!!! I really hope you take a little advice. Before you lose business.
Suzanna Collins rated it 1/5: I've had Alpha for over 5 years and it's been a great experience, up until 2 weeks ago. My trash was missed and I let it go as I only used one trash can. The following week it also wasn't taken. I called and left a message. No follow up phone call. I emailed and was told it would be looked into, no follow up after that. Called again and was told my trash would be picked up that day. Here it is the next day and it's still sitting on the curb. Today's email has gone unanswered as did the phone call.
