I loaded up the car and headed to Juniors Recycling. They were very kind to me and took all the metal I brought to them. I didn't make much money, but that wasn't the point. I needed it all gone and they were able to take everything. Everyone was very nice to me and so helpful. I would highly recommend taking your scrap metal there!!

KOS 762 (KOSPLAYS) rated it 5/5: They give ok prices on brass and copper. But steel isn't worth anything. A hot water tank is worth under $1.00 total. I used to get $10.00 each easy not too long ago. But it wasn't from here. I guess we have plenty of steel, so they don't really want it. Scrap yards in AZ in general, don't pay well at all. Lowest prices ever, over all.

I only updated to 3 star though because Ally Waste should provide a way for customers to report the trash not being picked up. Provide your phone number on the papers you make us sign or an app where it can be reported. That way it gets resolved BEFORE it gets to this point. There is probably countless people out there with the same issue but don't know how to get it resolved. From the likes of this original post, that is obviously the case.
Original: Stay away from Ally Waste. You are better of taking out your own trash because you will have to anyways with their service. You pay them to come 5 times a week except for holidays but will not show up whenever they please. No refunds issued even though I paid them to come pick up my trash. They will not show up multiple times a week, leaving you to take out your own trash even though you paid them to do that for you. If you complain, they said they cant do anything about it. Not even issue a refund for the service you paid for that you did not receive! I pay $25 a month, that is about $1 per day you come pic up the trash. There is 400 unites where I live, therefore each time you dont pick up the trash, you keep $400 you should not since you did not provide the service I paid for. Multiple times a month, this adds up to thousands and per the reviews this happens in multiple apartments, you guys are taking thousands of dollars for a service you dont provide. Honestly this is primed for a lawsuit, we are paying you for a service you are not providing. In the contract we have with you, it very explicitly states trash will be picked up 5 times a week with no exceptions, not even holidays! But since holidays are communicated in advance, I let it slide since I can plan for it.

They once left a trash bag outside my door for over a week bc it was next to the can and not on top of it. Customer service seems confused on what their pick up guy does and has little control over their activities. I called and every day since then, they’ve kicked my trash can over and down the hall way. Our apartment forces us to pay for their “service” but I would suggest they reconsider that partnership.

I'm NOT paying $125 when I KNOW I did NOT put ANY TRASH OIT BECAUSE I NEVER DO. This is shady business to falsely accuse someone of leaving trash bag on ground which could result in a $125 fine when I did not leave any trash at all by my door.

They made everything so easy, they were professional, and just all around very nice, helpful guys.

They had no urgency and blamed her for not being clear. She DID send photos to the business manager of the must remove items. Do not use this service. Slow, unprofessional and not senior friendly.

Bad enough we have been skipped a few times for our regular trash pickup, even though we are an end street house with the trash can always visible. Yesterday as I pulled into my driveway, man in a giant rental truck took my trash can, saw me then jumped in the truck and drove off. At first I thought my trash was stolen, Se we called Republic Services. That is where they advised that it was reported that we have 2 trash cans and we are only paying for one. That would be no problem if it was true, Its FALSE. After speaking with the customer service rep , it turned out that our neighbor across from us had the 2 trash cans, not us. The told me it was 100 percent Republic services fault. I asked if they can give us our trash can back. Apparently they will not send it any earlier than Thursday (This happened Monday) And any trash i have i need to pay the fees and take it to the dump because they also will not be picking up trash again for a a week. I asked again since it was their fault and whoever was sent out did not correctly read the address or know what 2 trash cans together look like compared to one. I was again told sorry nothing we can do. Very upsetting that they made the mistake and we are the ones paying for it. All while still being charged for the service.

In early December of 2022 I called multiple times to remove one of the two dumpsters we have on site. Everything was great until I was supposed to get a call from a manager but no call. so I called again to request the call again for the second time. I when received a call from a manager a few weeks later she said that I needed to pay cancellation fees, I needed to submit a 60-day written notice and such. I was not canceling the service I was just removing one container so I had to call about 5 more times and keep requesting to update the information and said I only needed to remove one container. finally towards the end of the December Kimberly the managers after several emails and phone calls finally got it. and said that there was no problems that there was no cancellation fees or anything to be paid. stated that there was a miscommunication. and everything was ok. we are now in January 30th 2023 and I'm still being charged for the two containers and after sending another email a week went by and no reply from Kimberly yet. So I had to call again to speak to a different manager and try to fix this situation. well they couldn't do anything so they emailed her directly and hopefully I get this situation resolved once and for all. as of right now it's been about 10/11 phone calls and about a half a dozen emails, (to go over a removal of one container situation). and they still have on their system that my container is onsite and it is supposed to be picked up on by the end of this month when they had already picked it up in january 9th! isn't this bad enough!

Ya, sometimes the intake guys at the trailer get overwhelmed with the amounts of customers but they get down to business. You can tell by the amount of material being brought in that this place is rocking. Either using the one and done lane or the open ticket lane its rarely at 10 min wait. Not to mention these guys gave out a free CATERED SMOKED TRI-TIP BBQ LUNCH that was absolutely some of the best meat Ive ever had. Thank you very much Jesse for the lunch. It means alot to us to be appreciated. I always love it when my dispatch says Johnson Stewart because I know my day will be smooth on the dump side.
