I picked an option that met my needs from multiple proposals. The group of guys that did the work were very polite. They showed up on time. They we're careful with the equipment. The install looks very sharp/professional—zip tied wires, made a plate for the thermostat, unit heater hangs nice and square… looks very "neat", which I appreciate and for which I am willing to pay extra. They ran into some blockers and required extra parts, but they persisted and got the job done the same day. I called MUD and had the gas turned on the day after the install. I called ServiceOne and the installers were back out to check that everything worked as expected within an hour. Also, they showed me how to use the thermostat and talked about how the system was setup.
Overall this level of attention to detail, timeliness, and quality work is uncommon. That's why I keep voting for ServiceOne with my dollars!

For the project I was particular about the type of lights I used, something that is not common or easily accommodated by other electricians I've had bids from. Dennis took the time to make sure the lights I wanted to use was compatible with the cans, Kelly was very prompt, thorough and communicative with scheduling. Matthew and Dylon were both very professional, courteous and considerate, not only did they overcome challenge with positioning lights around plumbing in the ceiling, they also made the repositioning and installation of a new light fixture streamlined and easy. The whole project was done well within the estimated time with room to spare, and many considerations were made for minimal amount of mess in the home. All in all I'm very happy with my first experience with Dennis Electric, and I'd not hesitate to use them again for any future jobs.

Our family had to replace our AC and furnace, so we decided to go through Costco and it turns out to be a very good decision. I get a better system and price compared to the others. Not only that but I get Costco cash card for my purchase and excellent service from A-1 United. Grant and Jake were very professional and courteous. The installation of the furnance look very good and so much better than the previous system it replaced. They were very thorough throughout the installation and took their time to do the job correct. I highly recommend A1 United they have a complete installation process to ensure the system is installed and working correctly.

I had estimates from 7 other companies with 5 different brands. It took me longer to wade through all the information than I expected, but Jim F was very patient with my questions and was very clear on what was possible verses what he recommended. His advice was greatly appreciated. When I did make our decision, he was able to make arrangements quickly and clearly. When installation time came, Chris B and Jacob A were prompt, kind, and detail oriented. I was very comfortable with them in our home. A few others came in whose name I don't remember, but absolutely everyone was professional and a joy to work with. Installing a complete new system was nerve-wracking, but this team made it easy. I definitely will recommend A-1 United to anyone for any service.

He even removed his shoes before entering the house and was conscientious about protecting the floor and area around where he was working to prevent damaging anything. Missy Smith rated it 1/5: They came to my home to give me an estimate for hooking up a new kitchen sink. Including putting together the new sink together and one shut off valve. A 400.00 dollar service from any other company I spoke with and that was the high side of them. The estimate he gave me was for 1235.00 a complete rip off never use this company. They want me to pay 149.00 for an estimate. He was at my home less than 5 minutes and not a tool used are you kidding. What a joke. I didn't realize they would be 4 times higher than any other plumber. What a complete scam I bet they just make money from the estimates and never actually do any work.
I would like to ad that after posting this review they had me call the office manager who was not in. The assistant manager did end up waiving the fee. I was told the new program they are using is sometimes not good.

We even asked for a bid on another project and he gladly gave us one. The work to be done was to take a day and a half. After the first day he was 85% done and was scheduled to come back the next day. For whatever reason he didn’t come back, so we had to wait for a handyman to become available to finish, after 2 missed appointments ( there was always some excuse) we finally got someone here to finish the work. So, now today I take the day off work to have someone come in and bid a job and once again, another excuse of why they make it. I would not recommend this company they are not very reliable. Their craftsman may be good but the scheduling department needs some improvement.

After talking with the owner of Handyman Connection, he wanted to see how he could help clear up any issues that I had with the scheduling. Dave is a great guy with a great company and we were able to discuss my disappointment and come to a mutually beneficial solution to the problem. He really cares about his clients and it shows that he is willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are satisfied. I’m improving this review from a 1 star to 5.

They came promptly and were super friendly, but they didn't actually fix anything. They decided that I need a new window (it's an older house, so that was fine), but it would take 6-8 weeks to come in. Also, fine. I paid about $500 for a deposit. In the meantime, they didn't fix the leak around the window so water keeps coming in and settling in my ceiling. I tried emailing the office manager for an update– she said she'd check on the status and get back to me. She never did. I emailed back a couple of weeks later asking for a refund so that I could pay someone to come out and actually FIX the issue. No response. I may be the exception (not the rule), but I would avoid this company. Let me know if anyone knows a good handyman…

I got a series of 8 weeks of bounced checks with no reimbursement. The owner Reid continuously made excuses on why checks bounced (horrible customers, horrible franchise, desk girl) and promised pay was coming the following week until I was unable to come to work any longer due to months of fees due to not being paid.
I worked beside the co-owner Cal, full time for two months while he just blamed the homeowners of Omaha that "they just can't pay on time." as an excuse on why the buisness couldn't pay me.

This company has been a financial disaster of employment. I am not the first employee this has happened to. I would never ever suggest anyone to spend their hard earned money with this company. They don't respect the hard working people who work for them as well as their customers.

If you feel like you're getting the "run around" or "ghosted" from this company it's because you are. They are horrible buisness people and humans in general.

I was trying myself, to change my faucet, and it went haywire! Water going down into my basement, and it just was not pretty! Fernando came in and went to work!

He put my new faucet on, and also new valves because the old ones were awful!

In all I 100% recommend calling Fernando for all of your plumbing services! I have already saved his number for another one of my mess up!

It took awhile to diagnose my issue, but they were responsive to calls and came on the same day. Pricing was fair and work was thorough. Will use them again for future needs. I would say that there was a slight mishap when the wrong part was ordered, had to wait several weeks for project completion, and the guys were suppose to arrive between 8-9 (usually arrived around 10). That being said, I’ve never known a handyman to show up on time and with how difficult it is to get people to show at all, I was pleased with the work. These guys got my hot tub on its own power source and move a light fixture in quick time. Saved me a lot of time. The price was a bit hefty, but it felt good to get the work done. If you are going to have them work on your hot tub , I would stay close by. I had to give them some tips and tricks because they blew my bracker when they turned the tub on. I had to google the solution, but they were able to rally and get it perfectly operational. I would use this company again.

The biggest take away from this experience was that they were very personable & took the time to explain what they were doing. We did have to wait awhile for our appointment but it was well worth it. We also thought they were very reasonably priced. We will use them again if needed & would highly recommend them to others.

Richard Norville rated it 5/5: After realizing, I was in over my head wiring from a sub panel 2 – 50 amp breakers to a swim spa I had just bought. I called my usual electrician Dave from CK electrical to see if he could hook up into My wiring from the sub Panel to my swim spa/hot tub motors. He said, based on my timeline he couldn't but gave me a strong recommendation to call Rick from Universal. They did not disappoint. Rick sent over two of his electricians who tightened up my electrical wiring and added a grounding rod. Made the electrical connections to my Spa motors. They gave me some pointers and did the best not to offend what little wiring I did do.. Lol. These guys are well versed in Spa electrical hookups and not a lot of electrical companies are; Believe me!
