He was able to come within a day of our request (during a time when everything related to appliances is in high demand.) He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts on hand. He also cleaned and maintained the dryer, and it runs much more quietly (see the "after" photo.) Prices were fair and competitive with another service. If you're in Chicago, especially Logan Sq, West Town, Humboldt Park etc – don't hesitate to call.

I messaged on Tuesday, and the issues were resolved by Friday; it would have been done sooner, but I could not be home. Omar had all the parts he needed to fix both appliances and even went as far as to clean up both to off-the-showroom floor standards. I recommend this company to anyone who wants the job done quickly, correctly, and clearly understands what it will cost and what will happen. They are in the Condo Boards book of top-notch vendors now.

My dryer hasn’t been working for months and no other company gave me results . Omar came and diagnosed the problem perfectly. He was fast and professional and most importantly reasonable on the price !!!!!! As a new homeowner I feel confident and trusting this company now that I’ve had results for the last 6 months no issues . I waited to make sure his work lasted as opposed to all the other companies who did temporary fixes . Thank you and this review is well deserved on your company’s part . Highly recommend!!! We first met the SAM team when they came in to perform preventative maintenance on our HVAC system. From the start, Darrell was professional and thorough.

dealing with the 800 Customer Service (an oxymoron) line is almost always awful. This time as well. It was a simple call to set up a repair appointment for our heating system. We have a master protection agreement which covers many items in the house including the furnaces. The first three people I spoke with did not recognize that term and kept transferring me. Finally, the fifth person I spoke with did set up the appointment in 2 minutes—something that should have happened immediately. They are so incredibly incompetent on that line, it is unbelievable. Worse yet is their system, it feels like it's working off of a 1994 computer. Then is often just freezes. This month I lost 35 minutes of my day to make an appointment! Shame on you Sears!!!

The day of my appointment arrives and I get a text confirming that a tech will be out between 1-5pm. At 3pm the Sears tech calls me and asks what's going on with dryer, I explain the situation and the technican, over the phone tells me that it's going to be an expensive repair job because he will most likely need to replace dryer parts and between the parts and labor it will most like cost around $300 – $400. The technician asks me if I still want him to come out and I say yes. He explains that if I decide not to have the repair done I will still need to pay the diagnostic charge and I could only pay via credit card or check. And once again he asks if I still want him to come out. I tell him yes. Than he asks how am I going to pay because this is going to be expensive and it could be between $400-$500. At this point I realized this "technician" did not want to come out and service my dryer. So I canceled my appointment. Not only did I waste time in waiting for them to come out but now I have find another company to repair my dryer. Don't waste your time by contacting Sears. for any type of repair.

When he left I checked to see if he’d fix it. He didn’t. I called him at the same number he called me from to tell me he was outside but he didn’t answer. I sent him a picture of the damage via text but he didn’t reply. So I had to file a claim with a third party company Sears uses for property damage. Now I have to wait for someone in a claim department to call me back. Such a headache. I will not be using this company again.

Rob Schulz rated it 3/5: My refrigerator had a slow leak from somewhere within the water line inside the unit, in the filter, or within the ice maker. The fridge was disconnected from the water source and moved to repair damage in the kitchen. The repairman replaced the water valves but would not hook it up to test that the fix worked and the leak stopped. The back cover was torn off and not replaced, and the mess was left on the floor. He repeatedly tried to sell me a separate warranty, but couldn't even confirm that his work fixed the problem, when all he needed was a temporary hose to connect and test it. Now if this fix is actually unsuccessful, I will need to call another repair service to address further issues. The labor was $526 for less than 90 min of work. This was an easy solve to test his work, but he refused because they "don't have any hoses". Total cost was $750 and I'm not even sure the problem is resolved. I've always used Sears for appliance and garage work, but this time was a poor experience.
Update 2/17/22: I had Sears return today because the leak returned almost immediately. The new technician quickly determined that the root cause was a clogged drip hose and a broken/cracked drip tray. I didn't have to pay for additional labor, just the new parts. However, it was unclear as to whether the initial repair attempt was the correct action or if those replaced parts were actually broken in the first place. When the new technician showed me the broken parts, it was very obvious that was the original root cause. The second technician made me feel much better that the solution was the correct one because he actually tested the fix and made sure it was no longer leaking. I increased the rating to 3 overall, but it was still a frustrating experience knowing that I may have paid for additional work that was not really needed.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing but in my case I had a hard time understanding the person at the other end of the phone. Also they have a long response time there was no point in calling them as in this case it was a refrigerator.

We scheduled a time frame and he texted me when he was actually on his way. He fixed my mom's very basic refrigerator and explained what he was doing throughout while also giving me tips along the way. He also charged a fair fee. He actually had to do a quick follow up but did not charge us for it. I would absolutely recommend Russ and am so happy to have found someone I can call for all my appliance needs!
Jacob B rated it 5/5: Got in contact with Russ after getting no response from another reputable appliance repair company in the area for a week, Russ asked a couple basic questions that a simpleton like me could understand, outlined the likely work necessary to resolve the oven issues and quoted a not-to-exceed price (that was less than half as much as the other company quoted for the same work once they did finally get in touch) based on the answers AND came out that same day (even providing a 15-minute heads up prior to arriving square in the middle of the quoted window). He was pleasant, honest, and extremely professional, even advising me on maintaining the oven and other homeowner tips re: appliances and generally just knocked the whole thing out of the park. The oven has never worked better and I no longer fear my appliances going into disrepair now that I know Russ and All Pro are out there! Highly recommend!

He fixed everything we needed fixed super fast and his prices were very fair. If anything your getting more than you bargained for. Trust in my honest review! With years of experience and expertise, they're able to repair almost anything and the repairs are solid. Ivan and Chaz are professional and tidy, work quickly and are personable. Most recently they diagnosed the problem with our clothes dryer which turned out to be a minor issue that we're going to live with until we're ready to replace it. Had to call a new company to come in and correct it (now I'm in for 2x the cost), and they confirmed the wrong equipment was used.
