TL;DR 20 calls, 20 hrs of waiting, 2 reschedules, over a word being wrong on the work order and A&E being afraid of being sued or not getting paid for the work, this udderly is the worst company to deal with. (Oh, and the workers can change the work order, but refuse because they "get in trouble."). Overall, they don't care about the customer.

Update – Day two, after talking with the A&E supervisor, they blamed LG for not picking the right option. I thought all would be good – nope. Spend the morning trying to get a work order created that said washer, not a combo unit, but after 10 calls a LG supervisor had to talk sense into A&E and point out the model is what's important, not it's description. A&E customer service then agreed to do the work.

That was this morning. The appointment was 1-5 and got a call at 4:15, "I'm scheduled to come out and fix your washer, but we're too booked up, I'm going to have to reschedule your appointment for Monday" (today is Friday).

I didn't pick the time, the computer automatically picked it. I only agreed to the reschedule, because he said "We're coming out to work on your wash machine." I'm not gonna mess up if the work order is reading right – but I'm disgusted at how I've spent literally 15 hours on the phone, 2 phone battery recharges, and 20 different phone calls, just over a word choice on a work order that is not my fault, and I cannot do anything to change, but have to deal with it.

2nd Update. Had a new appointment scheduled, apparently there is an issue with how work orders are created, and NO ONE can fix it. (The tech said they "can" correct, but get into trouble). So, instead LG is finding another company to do the repair. Sad, a company makes a customer have to bounce back and forth, over the wording of a work order.

So I called the installation salesman and coordinator, Ryan Johnson, who told me that my 8 year old A/C system was still under its 10 year warranty as I believed. They sent out a technician who arrived right at the tail end of time window given me. I was told he would perform a diagnostic for $80 and tell me what needed to be fixed. Instead, he replaced the capacitor without telling me what needed to be fixed, and then told me that my warranty was only 5 years and I was out of warranty. He was there for less than 30 minutes and he charged me $22.50 for a capacitor and $257.94 to replace something that not only can I replace myself, but could have done in less time. So I basically paid a tech over $500.00 per hour for a simple, basic fix. He looked at me embarrassed when he showed me the bill, almost like he Zillowed my house to figure out what he thought I could afford and how desperate he thought I was to have my A/C working again. I signed for the work because I was not going to argue with the tech, when being overcharged and lied to about my warranty was the fault of corporate rather than the tech. I called Mr. Johnson to let him know the outcome of the repair and that I was severely overcharged. He said he would refer it and get back to me or have the repair coordinator contact me. So far, it has been around three weeks and no one has contacted me. I would not recommend Sears repair services to anyone. They lie, they misinform about the warranty, and they overcharge for repair work. I did not diagnose the problem with the A/C myself because I was led to believe my A/C was still under warranty. This was one of my worst home repair experiences ever and one of the reasons I do almost all my repair work myself. Do not use Sears!

After filing my initial claim with our Home Warranty we had an appointment for December 1st. The tech came out and fixed our original issue, but after one cycle the dishwasher was broke again.

A part was not properly reinstalled when it was fixed and was now melted and broken. I called back to get them back out and it would now be December 13th before they could come back out. To try and speed up the process, I sent them a picture of the melted part to let them know what it was and what it looked like, so they can order it and have it prior to coming out. I was told they could not do that without the tech diagnosing it.

The tech came out on December 13 looked at the dishwasher, and determined the part that I told them they would need was the part that needed to be ordered. They would not reschedule me to have the new part installed until it came in. They finally had me scheduled for December 30th. We rearranged our holiday plans to be here to get our dishwasher fixed. They did not show up within the scheduled window. When I called to find out where they were, I was told the part didn’t come in and they rescheduled our appointment for January. At no point during this process did they called to tell me my appointment was rescheduled.

We are now over a month without a dishwasher. At this point I could have ordered the part on Amazon and fixed it ourself. P

I put in a order through our home warranty for our refrigerator and oven. Same day appliance was assigned to us. It took them 3 weeks to get the “parts” that we needed and for them to fix the fridge and what I thought fixed the oven. The oven still did not work after “fixing it” but they took so long with everything by the time I was finally able to get an answer they told me it had been 30 days and I would need to go back through my home warranty. They prolonged the process and didn’t even fix the appliance that needed to be fixed. It was such a hassle. After being very frustrated and having to be stern with the company the technician came back out and I guess actually looked carefully for the problem. He put the request in to my warranty for only my warranty to contact me to say they were going to replace my oven. Waited 2 months just for that answer!!

After taking time off work from 1-5 pm, I received a call at 5:30 stating that they were not going to make it out to the home. They rescheduled and came out to do the repair. The technician asked me for towels to soak up any water. When the technician realized the towels that I provided were too big to fit in the space that he needed, rather than calling upstairs for me to bring him smaller towels, he went to the bathroom and got toilet paper to soak up the water. After he left, I realized that he did not secure the dishwasher under the counter and the door to the dishwasher is no longer closing properly.

    I would not recommend Same Day Appliance.

I texted my information to them and they responded with a text and email appointment reminder. The next day they showed up on time, diagnosed my washer, told me the cost of repair, and repaired the washer all within the appointment time slot of 10am to 12pm. The washer now works like new.

However he showed up even though we canceled, I decided to just go ahead and get the washer checked, He couldn't find the problem, until I advised hey its leaking water from the bottom, he advised then that it was the pump, and said no more leakage, he checked again then said it was the transmission and that was the problem, once he changed it There was a bunch of water on the floor then said oh there's something with the spinner, the whole time I just sensed he didn't know what he was talking about. Then he advised to get a new machine, because according to the invoice it was irreparable. Worst experience ever.

Then when I got distracted and mad she said they would be out in 5-7 business days. Let’s see if they actually come out by then. Very dissatisfied for the corporate work they are doing especially lagging on the wait times this is unacceptable.
