I rescheduled the appointment for an earlier date and it got cancelled. I rescheduled another time for an earlier appointed and Sears cancelled that one as well. Finally, I was able to get an appointment to get the parts installed for the refrigerator. Technician, Adam, performed the repair. He is very professional. He was on time and competent. I'm hoping Sears would reach to me an offer me some sort of restitution for the no show an cancellations I experienced during the process. The real problem I experienced was when I had the no show. The next appointment I was able to get was nearly a week and a half later. (I rescheduled it for an earlier date, as I was told I could, only to have Sears cancel it.)

    After verifying the problem, he got us a quote for the repair and checked to make sure the part was in stock before we agreed to move forward. He was very thorough in his testing and made sure the oven worked perfectly before leaving. He even pushed it back into place for us and got everything put back in as we had it. He left the work area better than he found it.

    Price seemed a little high, but it was worth it for the good service and quality repair work. We will definitely call again for future repairs.

When the burners stopped working, other service providers refused to even look at the range because of its age, but the folks at ATS were up for the challenge. They took time to talk with me, research the range, and check out old service manuals before even sending someone to the house. When Bob came over to check it out, he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. We saved so much money by not having to replace the range, and are grateful to ATS for helping us out!

Bobby the owner made a special trip today, one week before my actual appointment to help me get the door open so I could get my clothes out. I especially appreciated that he was willing to wear a mask in my house and that he also recognized that I don’t wear shoes in the house and was willing to make that accommodation for me also by taking his shoes off before coming in. He was friendly, professional and very respectful. I spoke with Griselda and Shawn on the phones and they both were exceptionally kind, helpful and understanding. My washer door is open and even though I haven’t had my actual appointment to have my washer repaired I am already incredibly impressed with Authorized Technical Services! I highly recommend them!

Then tell you that you get the service fee off of the total but that’s a lie. They double dip on the fees. Read your receipts carefully! They when calling the office they said each person is their own contractor, they can charge what they want, never again and I DO NOT recommend this money hungry place!

Initially called for diagnostic and possible repair as our washer was an older model. Tech came out and didn’t even do a proper diagnostic, pulled and turned the timer and made his assessment based off that. ( He didn’t unplug the unit or take off panel to verify anything else) was here 15 min) Said it was a simple fix. He looked to see if he had the part on him possibly and then in their own inventory. Didn’t have it and said parts were discontinued. After he already quoted the repair price and told diagnostic fee goes towards any services. I asked if I could find the part myself if they could replace it and he agreed. After leaving I Found out the diagnostic wasn’t done properly. Called them back again a couple days later. No answer, no response after several messages. After a few weeks, several more attempts and voicemails.I emailed for a manager or owner to respond as this response time was well over due. They re-sent the same tech and this time he caused damage to the unit when taking off and replacing the panel. Then quoted me for another part entirely, when he caused another problem and left it full of water. (Not the initial problem at all) After he struggled with it, I quit and ended up having to call a different company to come out and pay another diagnostic fee. *Better explanation on options.*And this time it was done correctly, with two techs(one in training not by 5star). As they wouldn’t send out a different tech as requested. Their customer service, time response and continuous delay was ridiculous. I don’t recommend. Tech name not worth mentioning (guy was nice) but fumbled and didn’t know what he was doing and obviously wasn’t familiar with how to take apart. Ended up doing the work myself but with a damaged appliance. (tech forced a screw driver to open/close, left the panel bent/scratched/dented/stuck open)Not worth the hassle. Lesson learned. SHOUT OUT TO YOUTUBE!
    Needed the help due to a recent broken hand or I would have done it myself to begin with.

They went way above and beyond the "call of duty" where customer service matters in my very complicated situation. In today's world integrity, pride and respect of others are very hard to find. After stopping in a couple times looking for a refrigerator and not finding what we were looking for they offered to keep an eye out for us. We left our details about size, style etc. and about a week or so later she called saying they had one that met our needs. We stopped by the next day and purchased it. We opted for delivery and haul away, they were on time and professional. After removing the old one they were setting up the new one, they discovered something wasn't working properly. They were able to get the part and had it corrected the same day! We are very happy with our purchase and the outstanding service from everyone at Frontline.

I purchased a used washer and dryer set for house that was undergoing a renovation. Once the renovation was complete several months later, I took the washer and dryer out of storage and installed them and it was immediately clear that the washer did not work. I called Frontline and paid the upfront service fee ($120) to have the technician come out to diagnose the issue. After determining what was wrong, Frontline presented a repair invoice for more than I had originally paid for the washer, despite the fact that I had never used it and it was in the same exact condition that I had received it from them several month prior. Because it had been more than 30 days since purchase, even though it had never been used, they would not work with me to repair the washer for any reasonable rate. They also refused to take the washer back as a trade in for a new washer because it was too old, even though they had just sold it to me several month prior. Needless to say I did not move forward with their repair service for more than I had originally paid for the washer and I worked with a different local company to replace the defective unit. I will not be returning to Frontline Appliance as a customer and I recommend that you also find a more respectable company for your appliance needs.

    Update: After posting this review Frontline reached out to me directly to see what they could do to remedy the situation. I had already had the defective washer replaced by a different company, but Frontline did ultimately refund the $120 service fee that I had previously paid. I appreciate this gesture and I wish we had been able to come to a better solution before I needed to spend a significant amount of money replacing the washer with a new vendor. For full transparency of this situation I will be leaving the review with its original wording, as well as this update and the understanding that they did take some action to attempt to remedy the situation, albeit later than would have been ideal.

But it wasn't an issue as we are usually home and as they say "Ish happens"

I had to call them back several hours later as the AC unit was still not working. They came out the following day . The second tech determined our compressor was not working properly and suggested we needed a whole new unit for over $6000. We had another company give us second opinion and they found two wires had been chewed by pack rats . They were repaired and the AC working great! I find it amazing that two of their technicians came out and either on notice that two wires were chewed down …you think they would’ve checked that our first. So glad we got a second opinion we will never use Able refrigeration

    I had splits installed in my home, which reduced my utility bills so much that I added another to the guest house a year later !
    Just recently I had them install a tankless water heater. They did this at short notice due to a leak in my propane water heater. They worked late to finish the job. I would not hesitate to refer them and to use them for all future services!!
    Always a job well done!

He offered an extremely fair price that other companies couldn't beat. On top of this, Ron made extra trips out to inspect the work of his staff and another trip just to come out mark my breaker and teach me how they were set up for my house. I am having a problem getting a part for programming my AC unit and the front office has contacted ME regularly to keep me updated. They return my calls very quickly and respond to emails quickly. When I realized I had not gotten the programming component, they ordered it and will install it at their cost despite it not being an original component because Ron promised me a programmable AC. They deliver what they promise, are professional, responsive, and personable and I feel genuinely blessed to have found this company. My June AC bill was 105$ for an 1100 SQ ft house and I am cool and comfortable in the room I want cooled!

    P. S. I was sceptical about the part being delayed and called the AC manufacturer myself. Everything Able Refrigeration said about the part was completely correct. I appreciate Linda staying on top of the problem from the manufacturer!!

They were gracious, kind and understanding. They went above and beyond to help me by letting me work from home, work half days, letting me bring my puppy to work when there wasn't anyone else to watch her. Unfortunately, my symptoms persisted so I had to resign. Linda did everything in her power to make my life easier. She truly cared about my health and well-being. I've since been diagnosed with Covid Long, so the decision to leave was the right one. During my employment, I saw them display the same graciousness, kindness, and thoughtfulness with their customers. They go above and beyond to help each and every customer. As far as I'm concerned, any bad reviews are sour grapes. I would highly recommend Able Refrigeration because of Linda and Ron.

A Steve Martin Appliance Repair Technician (SMART) worked diligently to find the source of the problem, toward resolution, but even identifying the cause of the outages proved elusive. Eventually the company owner, Steve Martin, joined the investigation, and he and his skilled technician used every resource available to them. Throughout the ordeal, the SMART team demonstrated commitment to both tracking down (what proved to be a microscopic electronic culprit) and restoring the appliance to good working order. It was a frustrating process but they remained positive and, against all odds, incredibly pleasant to work with. That persistence paid off. The company lived up to its promise to fix the problem, whatever it took to do so. Our appliances are now back to active and full use, thanks to the team of Steve and Adan, aided ably by Michele. We could not be more pleased with the service they provided. If there were 10 stars for this rating, we would award them that. They're simply the best!

So we opted to have service. They did not have the part so it was ordered and again it took several days. When we were called that part was in it took another 6 days for them to schedule an appointment! The refrigerator was absolutely no different after the part was replaced. We purchased a new refrigerator and will not be doing business with Steve Martin Appliance again. The problem was obviously not diagnosed correctly and we wasted almost 2 weeks of time. We feel it is fair to pay for the service call but they should refund us the rest of what we were charged. We had a very poor experience and certainly wouldn't recommend them. If they would answer their telephone I would tell them so.

  • bill kraft rated it 1/5: I called to get a service call on fridge, the lady was explaining to me about the charges. They would charge me 4 percent i use a card, even on a debit card. I get it's they're business but to nickle and dime a customer like that then what other charges will I get that I don't know about! Just makes me weary of them. I canx service call.
