Scheduling with Stanley Steemer was very easy and flexible to my needs, even when I had to make a couple last minute changes due to a family emergency. They stay busy but had plenty of service windows to get in the same week both times I had to schedule. Everyone I’ve spoken with in the office was professional, courteous, and truly listened to understand our needs.

No one tried to up-sell us during the entire process but rather helped us find the best price with available specials and actual home footage to meet our needs.

The carpets look and feel great. There was even a little more improvement than I had anticipated on some high traffic areas.

The best part was how much was accomplished in how little time. When affordable, the excellent quality of work and the time saved versus renting a DIY carpet cleaning unit are well worth it. I would absolutely use this service again.

The only issue I has was I originally requested to have the hardwood floors cleaned as well, but they didn't have the equipment or read the work order request incorrectly. I was only charged for the areas of carpet, which were Very professionally cleaned…. or so I thought. I'm still pulling dirt & pet dander from the previous owners animals every time I vacuum. A few weeks later they came back to clean my air ducts and I had issues with their poor communication and scheduling. I tried being polite & professional but that didn't get me anywhere, so I had to change tactics to get someone who would do something about the lack of communication. The techs who performed the service courteous, making sure they got everything done. UNFORTUNATELY they did NOT put my guest room back the way it was and left things an absolute MESS!

Blanco was the top recommendation. I called them for an estimate, and they were prompt to have someone come the next day. I was called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know someone was on the way. The Technicians showed up Fernando & Joseph exactly on time. Fernando explain the process, they did an inspection of the rooms and provided an estimate. Fernando explain each option in detail, and how we would benefit from each treatment. Very professional, detailed, and knowledgeable of each treatment and service provided. We decided to agree on a treatment. And they actually started the same day. They took the necessary precautions to protect our furniture, the moved the couches, protected the walls to ensure no damage occurred. These guys were 💯% on top of their business. Explained everything along the way to ensure there were no miss understanding. The technicians were easily identifiable with their uniforms and the company truck. They accepted all forms of monetary payment methods. Fernando also briefed us on all the other services they provided and provided estimates for tile cleaning, and granite countertops. I had two area rugs cleaned and I was worried they would be wrinkled after they left but as they dried they flattened out.

Most businesses will take your money and never thank you for choosing them, not Alamo Steam Team. They're very punctual, over communicative with texts/emails/phone calls, and very polite. Their prices are reasonable compared to their peers, not cheap by any means, but the quality of work is superior. We had an ottoman, area rug, living room carpet and hallway carpet cleaned. Then a week later we had to have the living room recleaned by them because our dog had an accident (diarrhea). We also got the carpet protector, which I was so glad we got both times otherwise that carpet would have been so much worse from our dogs accident. Also, we hadn't had the carpet professionally cleaned since we moved in a year ago, and after AST's services, I could feel the difference. The carpet was fluffy and soft, like brand new. Huge shout out to Nicole (cust service) and Josh C. (cleaner), you guys made this experience one to remember and we will never use any other professionals for our future needs. Thanks!

He arrived on time for the clean and then proceeded to do a walk through of the areas we would like cleaned. We had a few pee spots we wanted cleaned and he made sure to concentrate on those parts of the carpet so they would come up. The carpet looks and smells great. The room had a musty odor and several large brown stains. Marc arranged to have his team clean it the next day and was very helpful in explaining what all could have caused it. Fidel was courteous and professional and did a great job. Highly recommend.

They immediately asked for pictures when we initially contacted them and gave us an estimate. They came out within a couple of days and did an absolutely fantastic job! Our dog didn’t maul the actual carpet too bad, so the repair was pretty quick. Super great service if you’re in an apartment or need repairs without wanting to replace the carpet in the whole room for a smaller hole or re-stretching. I would definitely recommend going to this family owned business for your carpet needs!

The manager (or possibly the owner) threatened us multiple times that he would contact our landlord/ housing management about some made up stuff to get try and get us into trouble as retaliation for putting a negative review.
As a LOCAL GUIDE, please be aware that there are numerous reviewers that seemed to have received services from this company that only have ONE REVIEW with an often FIVE STAR RATING. I just wanted to bring that to your attention! Here is my honest experience.
A while back, I had my carpets cleaned by Lone Star Carpet Clean. The entire second story portion of the house and stairway was treated. The agreed price was reasonable and they were flexible in changing the appointment time. All was swell, until the technician showed up.
In general, I felt the technician "D. A. " sent by "P. W.," took an lackluster approach at cleaning the rental's carpets, by finishing the entire 700sq feet and stairway in less than 15 minutes. In that time, "D. A." showed up without the quoted price in hand, left water all over the bottom floor tile, and there were multiple stains left in the carpet, of which I removed later with costly cleaning supplies. The carpets seemed a little brighter, but the stains remained untouched. The chemical sprayed was very aromatic and stayed that way for about 16 hours after the initial spray.
For a company with a 'star rating' as high as some of the best companies in San Antonio, Texas, I was very disappointed and felt like the work was unacceptable. I have had carpets treated and cleaned before on multiple occasions by others, so when "D. A." finished a 45 minute (plus) job in about 15 minutes, I was not surprised to see multiple minor problem areas that could have been easily cleaned with more attention to detail. I refuse to get anymore services done by this company and do not want to hear from them at all (please stop calling and texting me – as they have done repeatedly). I hope they clean up their practices and learn to strive for excellence. I added a few pictures of my carpets after being treated to show how the stains were left, as well as a copy of my receipt.

As of 28th of May, 2018, at about 10:50am I recieved a multitude of text messages from P.W. that was not called for and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Mr. P.W. is unbelievably rude and I really hope a large grouple of people see this review. AGAIN: PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME ANY FURTHER MR. P.W. OR ANYONE FROM LONE STAR CARPET CLEAN. HARASSMENT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND IS UNLAWFUL!
