Aardvark had the best reviews so I chose them. Now I know why and so glad I chose them also. They were very professional and kind. They took care with my dogs and cat to help ensure they were out of the way and safe. They were running behind (which can happen and no big deal). It was about 30 min. The HUGE thing is, they called to tell me this!! I cannot express how much I appreciated that! That gave them huge points right away. I had a different "duct cleaner" clean my returns in May of 2021 (while being gouged for more $$$ during the service) but opted for a whole system cleaning with Aardvark in June 2022. The team was very neat and cleaned up after themselves. For a full replacement it was done in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the service especially being new to Missouri and never having a wood burning stove before. We now feel safe to use the fireplace stove. It was quite horrifying what the previous homeowners had left behind.

We had the assessment and bid within a few days. He assisted me in choosing the replacement stone even going so far as to deliver the stone samples to me at my office. After the stone arrived, Chris immediately had his team out to the house to begin the project. They were meticulous in their work, extremely careful not to damage our home and vegetation. Chris et al. were communicative and professional all throughout the entire process. What I thought would take many weeks, only took seven days to complete.

Tracy McHugh rated it 5/5: We were having major issues with our 53-year-old, 30-foot chimney. The chimney had stone facing and was falling off in large chunks. We called Chimney Restoration of Kansas City to look at our problem after trying other companies who ignored us for the most part. Chris, the owner, immediately came out to assess the problem. We had the assessment and bid within a few days. He assisted me in choosing the replacement stone even going so far as to deliver the stone samples to me at my office. After the stone arrived, Chris immediately had his team out to the house to begin the project. They were meticulous in their work, extremely careful not to damage our home and vegetation. Chris et al. were communicative and professional all throughout the entire process. What I thought would take many weeks, only took seven days to complete.
I would highly recommend this company for any chimney/fireplace work.

Chris was professional and courteous when working around my busy schedule and always made sure to communicate what was going on and provide me with documentation of the chimney and explain everything in great detail. They worked with us to create a plan of action that met our needs and budget. He confirmed my worries that my Chimney had seen better days. I didn't use my Chimney that winter and researched wood stove inserts vs keeping a traditional fireplace. I now have a repaired Chimney and wood stove insert. Stacy Downs is professional, friendly, and helpful. If you need this service, reach out to him. My experience was very positive. I plan to use him for future services.

Not many businesses would be willing to come out and give help and advice when they’re not going to get paid for the work. All In A Row was honest, helpful, and very professional.

This year they were incompetent in their diagnosis and never bothered to call back, just left me hanging. Long story short…new competent service pulled out 50 lbs. of the glass that forms with wood inserts. Could have burned our house down. Clutter service said the steel sleeve had burned through and he could not clean it. Just lazy. The sleeve was not burned through it was just years of inadequate cleaning. No one could be more disappointed than me.
