• Remember0811 rated it 5/5: All I can say is WOW!!! I bought a black 2010 Lexus IS-350 that was so covered with rock chips that I would never have been happy until the entire car was painted. I got several quotes. I was a little skeptical about going to Maaco but they have been around a long, long time. Once I met with Brice, the General Manager, I was completely comfortable with my decision. He explained everything to me and worked out every little discount he could (this was out of pocket). He showed me their work on other cars. The end result was beautiful. It is not 100% from when the car was brand new but its pretty darn close. I felt like they had treated the car as if it were their own. Now I find myself going out to the garage just to admire the car. I love it and have zero regrets using Maaco. I would use them again without hesitation.

  UPDATE: 8 months later. The Lexus is still looking fantastic. I took my niece's 22 year old weather-beaten Toyota Echo in to be repainted. Once again Brice, the GM, worked his magic and made me a good deal. It only took a few days and well, I will let the before and after pictures speak for themselves. The car looks like new and we love it. Thanks again to Brice and his team at Maaco.

Will use them, specifically this branch, if I find myself in need again.

• Marissa Jimenez rated it 1/5: We took our vehicle to this location because of a bumper accident, we were using the person who hit us insurance, we were told we will get a new bumper and the repair was suppose to take about a wk to complete, it was fine since we got a rental, it ended up taking more than 2wks, after we got our vehicle back we were a little skeptical about the bumper being new but the lady who gave it to us told us it was a new bumper, she even said the insurance didn’t want to approve it but she fought for it. We took the vehicle home and noticed it looked dusty even when we washed it, we tried to scrub it really good and nothing, we then realized the whole car was sprayed with something that made the it look and feel matte. We took the car back and they admitted they tried to fix the bumper and it was sprayed with something. They said to leave the car and in two days was going to be ready but took almost two wks and we got told to go get the car back bc the wrong bumper was ordered and the chrome pieces weren’t fitting. After waiting two more wks for the right bumper to arrive we took it back and told them that whatever they sprayed wasn’t off still, took them another wk for them to finish it off. I can’t even express with words how frustrating this was, from getting lied about the bumper being new to not having a car for so many days because the right estimated time was never accurate and to top things some letters from one side of the car were found inside and the bumper chrome strip fell within a month – “I called after somebody from Maaco added information to call them and someone just got my #, no one called me back! “

The work was great!! Very professional. I went to at least 5 places before I found them and not only would the others not even see me, they wouldn’t even make an appointment. Maaco was very upfront about the time of project & stuck to it!! I only had my Jeep 10 days before the hail storm. So I had to replace the entire hood and a few other hail related damages. The Jeep is better than new thanks to Maaco & the new paint & hood. Highly recommend!!

It cost me more just to rent a car because of lack of good business. The paint job was nice but the whole experience was a nightmare. Being without a vehicle for a month is not fun. The company didn't absorb any of the rental cost. The 3 ⭐ is for the paint job.
  Honestly If you choose this company for business please be prepared for a bad experience and lack of business operations. Excuses after Excuses.. good luck 🌎

When i picked it up after 3 weeks, the bumper was a different color (shown in photo). They then took a couple more days to fix that problem and ended up being super messy and getting overspray of paint all over my windows and exhaust. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

As a husband and father to an adult daughter, I was especially appreciative of how respectful they were to the ladies, which is rare with contractors these days.
  What Bill, Don, Gerson and crew didn’t know was how incredibly stressed we have been through this process and other things going on. We truly feel blessed to have met them and had them take care of us…..we later found out that they even handled a few things that we didn’t know about to help out. From our initial contact Gus Gutierrez was responsive, communicative and prompt. Gutierrez Painting painted the interior of my home, bedrooms, bathrooms, an interior brick wall and the hearth beneath the fireplace that was an eyesore. I was not sure if they were going to be able to paint the eyesore but Gus assured me that it can be done and sure enough it looks beautiful. The whole house looks beautiful. Gus took the time to come to the house a few times to help me decide on the color. Gus taught me a few things that I didn't know, I did not know that you can get a color at any percentage of that color, which was great because the color I chose could have been very granny like, but I really liked the color, Gus came over and confirmed that yes it will be very granny like and suggested that I get the color at 50% versus the 100% that I had it at, this was the game changer, it was exactly what I wanted! Gus also told me not to swatch smack dab in the middle of the wall, which I OF COURSE already had done *eyeroll, instead he told me to swatch next to door trims, just not right in the line of sight, ask Gus about this before you start swatchin up your walls. Another thing I did not know was the quart samples you get at Sherwin Williams is their bottom of the barrel paint, like the cheapest type of paint they have, the quarts are for color choice only, so when you choose your finish it does make a bit of a difference, but again consult with Gus for better information. Gus has many years of experience, his father started the business many years ago so the two of the combined have a vast knowledge of the industry.

And now for the Gutirrez Painting crew, they were on time every day, professional, friendly, clean and their attention to detail really put a hand wringer like me at ease.

Also, I did have some drywall work that needed to be done, but I have what they call a "crows feet" texture on my wall which I love, so it was important for me to keep the surface the same, and of course Gutierrez Painting was able to do that.

All in all Gus and his crew were very easy to work with, took the extra time to get everything right and I couldn't be happier. I have another project that Gutierrez Painting will be helping me with in the near future, there would be no one else I would call. I highly recommend Gutierrez Painting.

We had a large project and the team did a great job making sure that everything was clean, caulked, and painted. They had a team member walk around with us to touch up anything we thought needed it. The price was inline with our expectations and Gus even adjusted the quote when we decided to only use one color! The attention to detail and cleanliness during a complete re-do of our kitchen made the task very tolerable. We wanted to take our outdated dark stained wood cabinets and breathe new life into them. He painted and glazed our cabinets and recommended a great tile crew to insert our new back splash. They also created this beautiful gray glaze to help update our pool bath cabinets and master bath cabinets and stair railing. Gutierrez painting did not disappoint.

I went back to inquire about it within warranty and was told that, I have to pay half the price of original cost to get it repainted. I thought that was so unfair. I had to return the car 3 time after and still found problems later that I had someone else fix. They installed a broken new door on my car and then said what do you expect we used, used parts. Unbelievable! The windows had over spray all over when i got the car back the last time. They didn't work with my ins. who sent them a check, they say they never got, so I was billed $3700 for the repairs and had to be reimbursed by the insurance company. Never have I seen such bad attention to detail.

  Definitely Recommend going ANYWHERE Else than to deal with a scam artist. When he was comfronted on why such a different price he was lost for words.. He didnt remember giving me the original quote
  This is Texas so you are much better off dealing with the Mexicans… They keep their word and their work is better… Dont waste your time with Dave..

Spoke with Sherri, I had an appointment today at 10 AM appointment, it was made on that previous Wednesday to get an estimate on my car… I did get a call the DAY of my appointment but no one left a message or text. When I got there, which was 9:55am, I waited for about 20 minutes, so I called DAVES PH# got no answer, so i pulled off, then maybe 15 or 20, maybe 30 minutes later I got a call, (text message) that said that she was sick and was just leaving the doctors office and she tried to call me EARLIER , ok, it would have really helped if you had left me that text message you sent later EARLIER so I wouldn’t have wasted my time and gas driving ALL the way over there, My phone doesn’t recognize new numbers that that are not saved ….. but also, is this the way you conduct your business??? Very inconsiderate. First impressions are lasting impressions…. And to top it off the text message didn’t include if I wanted to reschedule so that let me know you didn’t want my business to begin with….Won’t be back
