They took the time explain to me how it works and gave me a quote. Once I approved the quote, they started to work immediately. A couple of their people patiently explained the process. You get paid higher rates for some items that must be placed on a scale and weighed at the front of their facility. Jonathan Friesen rated it 5/5: Between December 2020 and May 2021 we moved my parents-in-law from their home and business of 40+ years. Wall Recyling was absolutely superb. We filled 10 general debris dumpsters, 4 scrap steel dumpsters, and sold 3 cars for scrap with Wall. We worked with Natalie (coordinator), Tyrone and Levon (two of the many drivers), and Greg (steel coordinator). Wall's employees went above and beyond in big and little ways. All were professional, pleasant, and helpful. Natalie was extraordinarily helpful and timely in arranging multiple dumpsters on short notice by email, text and phone call. She was also able to correct our mistake of initially providing the wrong address and confusing a few drivers. Greg arranged to have Wall Recyling fill and remove 3 dumpsters of scrap steel in one day and Greg personally handled it with one co-worker. Greg also suggested competent and reliable contractors who could handle items Wall could not. His recommendations were superb. Tryone and Levon brought multiple dumpsters and were pleasant even at 6 am and during the incessant rain and mud of the spring of 2021. And, while waiting in line at Wall Recycling in Durham with a scrap vehicle, a Wall driver, noticing that we appeared lost while he was waiting to unload steel from his truck, took the time to walk across Wall's vast parking lot and direct us. It was clearly not his job, but he was observant and took initiative to help us. I wish I recalled his name. Wall Recycling is the Walt Disney of customer service in the construction and scrap industry and made a difficult move far easier than we could have imagined. I only wish that we would have thought to ask Wall for a referral of reliable sub-contractors who handle day to day cleaning and debris removal before filling several dumpsters on our own.

Little hectic metal and nails everywhere but ehh just be careful and watch where you drive and youll be ok. The prices are competitive but tt&e down the road has better pricing and clean facility

We were promised dumpster delivery on Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.. they called us at 6:30 and said the dumpster was broken they were going to fix it and bring it to us on Saturday. Needless to say we still don't have a dumpster! They did not even call to advise us of the situation. Very poor customer service!
CURTIS DRAUGHN rated it 1/5: Three weeks ago I called wall recycling to reserve a dumpster the lady that I spoke with quoted me a price of 468 and I agreed upon that and we set a date for delivery, The day before it was delivered at 6 o’clock they decided to call and say that the driver had got in an accident and would not be able to deliver that day, I pushed it back to the next week The day before they were supposed to deliver they called back and said that the price had changed and would be $125 more because they had the wrong address after myself and my wife both gave them the address of spelt out the name of the city. The billing clerk or whoever I spoke with kept arguing with me telling me that the lady that initially booked the dumpster made a mistake and she was new at the job and insisted that I had to pay the extra money or they wouldn’t deliver the dumpster. Needless to say I will never use wall recycling again.

But now, it's $25 for 1 cubic yard of mulch, thus and increase of 6x. To get the same 5 cubic yards for $20, 2 years ago, I have to pay $125.

Of course, if you have a commerical account, then the price is $5 per cubic yard. It's no wonder no one is buying mulch anymore.

First: This is the laziest group of people to work for a city sponsored program. Everyone is paying for this lazy, careless service. Even when following the rules online for bundled sticks they refused to pickup because "there could be snakes". Why would the City of Raleigh hire yard waste management folks who are afraid of snakes? Or anything that could be found in yard waste? They just don't care to do their job, that's it.

Second: This leaf collection schedule is complete garbage. in past years they came by twice, once in November and once in late Dec/January. This year they skipped the first pass and went straight to January. Cutting production in HALF in one move, will we be discounted for the reduction in service? Again, we pay for this service every single month, all of us and they can just opt to not do their job for several months? It's BULL. And now that they decided to skip the first pass, they now take their time and push the collection dates back. Zone 2 was scheduled for January 5th. Everyone put their leaves out for Jan 5th. The week of Jan 5th, the website rolls out a clandestine update saying zone 2 now collects Jan 23rd. Well, here I am Jan 24th and the website now says it's still working on zone 1. LOL.

The City of Raleigh has a MAJOR problem with yard waste management. This includes the day-to-day people picking up. It probably also includes management and supervisors. These are NOT proactive people. More likely INACTIVE. Please, clean house and start over, or discontinue the program altogether and we'll pay someone else to haul leaves and sticks away.

Patriotic American rated it 1/5: $140 for a small truck load of clean wood chips! Sure, diesel fuel is up and everything is a little more expensive, but this is crazy! I have forbidden my company drives from dumping here. We can dump the same truck for $50 just two minutes form there!

Concrete dump is up, to the right, right before you get to the fork (right goes downhill, left goes around to the lumber dump area) between two water tanks.

I went out the way I came (so did everyone else I saw) despite the one way sign. Going down to the excavators didn't really give a clear indication there was a way out. Did 2 runs. No problems.
jpw tgj rated it 1/5: This place is now a joke. I will NEVER be returning and will be telling all my friends and co-workers never to come here again. I used to be able to get my entire 8ft truck bed filled to overflow with mulch for $32. I went today and was left feeling confused, slighted, and insulted. The "yard" I was given was less than half (not even an exaggeration) of what I usually get for $32. There was plenty of supply, so that would not be a factor for the small load. I honestly believe that I could get more mulch at Lowes for the same money. My wife just asked where the rest of the mulch was. Anyway, great way to lose a long time customer that used to sing the praises of this place. Mulch Masters will be getting my business from now on. Mulch Masters also employs veterans.
andrew chan rated it 1/5: If you want a place to "OVER CHARGE" for dumping your yard waste then come here, otherwise drive to the City of Raleigh recycling center over at New Hope. Granted the City goes by weight, it'll still be far less in cost compared to Wall recycling since they charge by the size of your trailer "no matter how much debri you have". I brought my 16' trailer with 3/4 loaded about 4' high and Wall charged me $60 to dump. When I asked why the cost was so high since the previous owner "Rowland landfill" only charged me $20-$30 everytime I went there, they told me they charge according to the size of the trailer no matter how much there is in content. This is a crazy way to determine the cost! Basically it would of been the same if I only had one tree limb in my 16' trailer vs. the entire trailer full filled 30 ft. tall. Last time I'm going back to Wall Recycling!
