I had already added the Organization option for that reason but said fine and paid another $100. Then the person that was hired said they didn't have time to clean it and I would need to cancel. When I canceled they said I would be forced to pay a cancellation fee on the new and charged me 25% of the higher number. So I ended up paying them $100 and got nothing out of it.
Wish I had never scheduled something.

Maid For Homes is unprofessional and incompetent.
I scheduled a partial cleaning for a guest bedroom, living room/kitchen, and powder room for Wednesday, January 25th from 8AM to 9AM. It was suggested by the company that I book for a 3-hour cleaning. I keep my house relatively tidy, so the work was minimal. I explained that 3 hours was excessive for how small the job was (clean toilet, mop living room/kitchen floors, wipe oven, wipe table/counters), but I was assured that whatever time wasn’t used, the price could be adjusted and I would be credited. This was reasonable, so after putting my credit card on file, I awaited the service the following day. 8AM to 9AM came and went without any form of contact or notification from the cleaners nor the company. After extending a grace period of 15 minutes, I took the initiative to contact Maid For Homes via phone. I explained to them that no one had arrived as scheduled and that no one notified me of any delays, cancellations, or emergencies. Maid For Homes claimed that their employee hadn’t notified them of being absent from the job that day and assured me that they would get to the bottom of why they hadn’t heard from their employee. While this course of action may satisfy the inquires Maid For Homes had related to their employees being compliant with the conduct expected within their organization, it does not address the matter that the organization has no system in place to function as a liaison between their employees and their customers to communicate time sensitive information. Maid For Homes offered a rescheduling (at full price) for the following day, Thursday, January 26th (with no reassurance that a similar situation wouldn’t occur). The following day, the cleaners arrived on time and completed the work within 90 minutes. The quality of their work was on par with a partial cleaning and satisfactory. I contacted Maid For Homes to notify them of the timeline to adjust the price as previously discussed. Brushing past my request, the customer service representative began to recite a survey on the quality of the service from that day. After answering their questions and regaining their focus on my questions, they told me that they do not credit the difference in time and that regardless of what is scheduled the entire time is paid in full. Additionally, regardless of a partial-cleaning or a deep-cleaning, Maid For Homes does not book for less than 2.5 hours. In essence, after explaining my needs and the light workload, I was upsold to 3 hours of work despite only needing 1.5 hours. They asked who I spoke to the first time, but seeing as I had called multiple times to address their absence, I had spoken to multiple people. They said they would pull up my file and get back to me. Today is Monday, January 30, and I still hadn’t received a phone call back from them. Again, I took the initiative to call them to ask them the status on crediting me to reflect the work that was done. Again, I was force fed a survey on the quality of the service from that day. Again, I redirected their attention to my questions. I was told that their manager isn’t connected to their main location and that they would have to reach out to them to see what they could do. Again, I waited for correspondence. Finally, a customer service representative contacted me saying, “we’re sorry for [the inconvenience] and we recognize your time is valuable, especially for our customers who work full-time jobs. We can credit you $20”. The total cost of the “service” was $225.00.We’re all human; mistakes are inherent, but the key to great customer service is thoughtfulness and accountability. The two major issues were absence of service and an inaccurate representation of company policy that evolved into further lapses in communication and an abysmal offering toward customer retention.

They held hiring events at libraries and when you go they pretend they will give you a job and they have a lot of jobs but tell you when your background comes in they will call you. It’s been almost a month I called 3x in the last month checking in the status of my app and all I get is they will call you back if they not too busy or they is in a meeting! Just lying all time and very unprofessional and does not know how to manage time management. Do not let them give your hopes up and do not drop ya guards when meeting with them because they will offer you a job but will give it to someone else or will pretend they never even spoke to you when clearly they told you to stop in for an interview and even they don’t even tell the person who conducting the interviews it’s orientation they all is just very unprofessional

I reached out to Two Men for a last minute cleaning as I had zero time to prepare my home for my next guests. They were there that day (somehow they squeezed me in) and did an outstanding job. The staff was professional and my home has honestly never looked cleaner. The team went above and beyond to ensure my home was more than ready for my guests. If you are an Airbnb host, I highly recommend checking them out. They understood the industry and ensured the high standards would be met. I will 100% be utilizing Two Men's services in the future.

I recently had to resign due to overwhelming amount of personal issues unsolvable at this juncture- the timing was just off- I’d like to part ways in a professional and positive manner, as well as leave my truth behind via good review.
Melissa hired me on the spot due to my extensive history with commercial and residential cleaning, as well as my motivated and passionate outlook on cleaning/cleanliness.
She never judged my cooky spirit or got frustrated with my temperament.. again- I had struggled with health issues, as well as vehicle.
I did wish to remain at this company and saw myself transitioning into higher position, but understand how life works. The clientele base was outstanding and often tipped generously. The scheduling and mapping were down to a science and even gas reimbursement was given- Mike was extremely cheerful and polite.
I unfortunately didn’t have opportunity to meet Cody or Ryan due to schedule differences but I heard nothing but great things. Plus Cody’s hot.

This crew is the polar opposite – many days, we're fortunate if the new crew completes 50% of the contractual scope. The level of inconsistency and general indifference is almost embarrassing.

When questioned, I was told that would be an extra charge to wash the dishes. For the price, I expected the full service.

They didn't make it to all of the items on my list in the 2.5 hours I planned for, but they did get all big stuff (light fixtures, baseboards, etc.) I can't do. They were a little pricey, but were able to come right away and were very professional. I probably wouldn't use them regularly, but for a deep clean 1 to 4 times a year, they are great.

I have experienced several schedule changes, had cleaners leave several times before even touching some of the main rooms, including the master only to then show up with attitude about fixing their oversight. I’ve had to walk through and point out the same missed areas more than twice in one visit before actually cleaning the space and more often than not one crew member blames the other one behind their back. They are not equipped with the right products to clean a white kitchen sink or smooth electric stove so they have to use mine every time. It’s all very awkward. Their contract dating is also faulty, ends up tricking you into 13 mos of service instead of 12. I have spent so many hours fuming about their lack of professionalism that it was not worth their time cleaning or my time babysitting them and certainly not worth their high price. I have since found phenomenal cleaners for much less.

Also, be aware that the cleaners they sent to my house were in high school and told stories of working 8am – 11pm. I thought there were laws against that in Ohio.
I requested an estimate and probably was only half listening when they said they would clean that day as well and the rate would be $149 an hour.
They arrived to do the walk through and estimate within the window but close to 5pm. The cleaners were young, but professional and answered all my questions about their process and products they used. (So far so good.)
They estimated that it would take 4 hours to clean my home – which I thought was a bit high – but that's about how long it takes my husband and I to do it.
Here's the catch if I signed a 1 year contract the price would be about $300 per cleaning. Without the contract it would be about $600. ($300 is around what I've paid for other one time cleanings.) Now for the real kicker, I was expected to have my house cleaned right then, starting at 5pm. I asked to speak to the manager. I was willing to have my home cleaned on a different day, but she would not even discuss it, even though I made it clear that they would not get my long term business if they didn't.
Bottom line – I paid $75 for the estimate.
I was not comfortable with signing a contract for this type of service. As others have said the first couple cleanings would probably be good, but with you locked into a contract there is no motivation for the company to continue provide good service. I find the difference in price for contact/no contract to be way out of line. All that money is pure profit because you know they aren't paying high school kinds more than $15 an hour.
